A little about me
Hi, I'm Mairead
Before starting my business, I spent over 12 years working in the food manufacturing industry - specifically, chocolate which I loved so much (especially the quality tasting part)!
I started as an apprentice and worked my way into a management role within a small, growing business. Along the way, I gained hands-on experience across production, operations, compliance, customer relationships, sales and general business support.
Working in a growing business taught me just how valuable an extra pair of hands can be, and that's exactly what I now want to offer other business owners.
What matters to me
I genuinely want the businesses I work with to succeed, and I believe the best working relationships are built on honesty, reliability and clear communication. I'm relaxed and approachable but organised when it comes to getting things done. I won't promise the world if I can't deliver it – I'd much rather be upfront, agree realistic deadlines and make sure you always know what’s going on within your own business.
My job is to take things off your plate, not add more to it.
What to expect
Getting started is simple. Once you email me (mairead@beesorted.co.uk), I'll get back to you and arrange an introductory call so we can chat about your business, what's taking up your time and where I can help.
I'll then put together a clear quote or proposal based on what we've discussed. Once you're happy, we'll get everything booked in, agree the next steps and I can get to work meaning one less thing on your to-do list is complete.
I'm based in Newtown, Powys and work mainly from home, but I'm also happy to visit you on-site where needed. Sometimes the best way to understand how I can help is to see your business in action.
When I'm not working...
You'll usually find me out walking my Labrador, Ellie, meeting all of her pals in the park with plenty of treats involved, of course!
And despite spending over 12 years working around chocolate, I haven’t lost my sweet tooth. I'm partial to Strawberry BonBons, which are obviously the best!
